Opening: Lead Teacher
Teachers lead Mingyuan Chinese School classrooms for students age 3.5+. Classes are grouped by skill level and assignment will be determined each semester with a strong preference towards maintaining consistency for the benefit of the children. This position exercises discretion and independent judgement to lead their class. Please attach your Resume/CV and any applicable academic transcripts in your application. Responsibilities:
- Create engaging, age appropriate lessons using provided curriculum
- Establish classroom management utilizing positive coaching
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
- Encourage positive social interactions that are joyful and respectful
- Participate in community-building events and works well in a team environment
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree, preferably in education
- Must be bilingual English/Chinese
- Fluency in Traditional Chinese
- Prior experience with 3.5+ age group
- Must have work authorization in US (We do not sponsor VISAs)
