Our school teaches traditional Chinese. Both Mandarin phonetic systems (Zhuyin Fuhao and Hanyu Pinyin Romanization) are taught in all levels. Class placement is based on age and academic level, starting with preschool, ages 3 1/2+. Our classes support both non-heritage speakers (for families without a Chinese background) and heritage learners (children who speak Chinese at home). We offer extracurricular activities which include learning about Chinese art and culture. Academic competitions are also available throughout the year.
Chinese holidays are celebrated with students and families like Lunar New Year and mid-Autumn Festival. These celebrations include arts, calligraphy demonstrations, food, and more.
