Welcome To Evergreen Mingyuan (明遠)
Evergreen Mingyuan (明遠) School is well-known throughout the Seattle community as one of the longest running Traditional Mandarin (繁體) education providers in Washington. Our community is built by a community of teachers, staff, and families with a shared vision dedicated to teaching Traditional Mandarin culture and language. Our teachers are highly experienced in teaching Traditional Mandarin and we have high retention leading to tenured teachers with Evergreen Mingyuan.
We are a non-profit, parent and volunteer run Traditional Mandarin language and culture school in Seattle. We offer classes for children ages 3.5+ as well as a Traditional Mandarin language class for adults who have little or no prior Traditional Mandarin language experience. Classes are held Saturday mornings during the school year from September through June. Evergreen Mingyuan School admits students of any race, color, national, or ethnic origin. We are eager to teach the rich history of Traditional Mandarin to all who are interested.
